I am celebrating 27 years of photographing the families, kids, high school seniors, athletes, business people and artists of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I specialize in showcasing the love and joy of my subjects in beautiful wall portraits. As a mom of two amazing kids (Tanner, 18 and Anabel, 14) I have an eye for capturing beautiful family moments.

Working With Weather!

It’s not rare for there to be random gusts of rain in the afternoons of the summer days in Jackson. Sometimes it passes in a matter of minutes, and other times it can hang around and grow into a sizable thunderstorm that can stretch into the night. It’s the way our beautiful town works, and Flo is no stranger to dealing with the years and years of random summer weather she has gone through.

When the Stamos family wanted their portraits taken up on Spring Creek one such summer day when the dark clouds were gathering, Flo waited patiently until the last second to see if she would have to call it off. At the first sign of a break, she called the family and said “let’s go!” and away they went. The storm, even though daunting the whole shoot, made for some amazing backdrops for the family, and there was no shortage of dramatic beauty up on the hill for them to pose with!

The best thing about working with Flo is that she knows the tricks of the trade after spending so much of her photography career in Jackson. She knows when things will work out and when they won’t, what light you need to be successful, where to put a family in a scene, and how to make everyone enjoy the process!
