It’s not rare for there to be random gusts of rain in the afternoons of the summer days in Jackson. Sometimes it passes in a matter of minutes, and other times it can hang around and grow into a sizable thunderstorm that can stretch into the night. It’s the way our beautiful town works, and Flo is no stranger to dealing with the years and years of random summer weather she has gone through.
When the Stamos family wanted their portraits taken up on Spring Creek one such summer day when the dark clouds were gathering, Flo waited patiently until the last second to see if she would have to call it off. At the first sign of a break, she called the family and said “let’s go!” and away they went. The storm, even though daunting the whole shoot, made for some amazing backdrops for the family, and there was no shortage of dramatic beauty up on the hill for them to pose with!
