I do recommend trying to book a summer session as you are feeling your best. The fall time of your senior year is full of sports, activities, trips to visit colleges, and lots of schoolwork, so let’s make it happen in the summer before senior year. Otherwise, I shoot senior portraits all year round!
Seniors and parents can begin by visiting my website, where they can access my rates. Once the session type is selected from our initial phone call and consult, a date, time, and location for the photoshoot are selected. A deposit is required to secure the booking. This deposit will be applied towards the total due for your print order. After booking, seniors will receive a survey to detail their specific needs and session objectives. This ensures all requirements are clearly understood. If necessary, seniors can also book a Zoom session at that time to discuss specifics.
You are unique, and your senior session should be too! I believe your photos should reflect you and your personality. Each session begins with working to style the perfect wardrobe for your session. I recommend bringing 3 different outfits so not every image looks the same. A lot of the time the seniors bring a bag full of fun outfits and change on location.
Your senior photos should be one of your best memories from your senior year. That is why we go all out and choose the right outfits, and a great location, and have fun!
Expect 1-1.5 hours at most for the session as your everyday person can only handle so much. During the photo session, I go through a variety of combinations, angles, and backdrops while mixing posed and candid looks. I work tirelessly to find the beautiful light while keeping the pace moving and fun.
All your senior pictures are hand-retouched to enhance the color, and contrast including the signature Flo edit. While I work to make sure you look your very best, your images won’t look overly Photoshopped and will still look like the best version of you.
A week after the session, I have scheduled you and your parents to come to review the photos and place your order in the studio.
During this meeting, I help you choose your images and decide what frames and what type of material to print on. I am there right by your side for help. I have numerous displays in my studio to give you ideas and suggestions and you can feel and touch all of them. I work with every senior to custom design your photo products, so you don’t have to worry about doing it without an expert’s help. I offer a variety of archive-quality photo products such as leather albums, and custom design image boxes with USB drives loaded with your digital files and fun and chic graduation announcement cards. Once the order is placed it can take either 2-3 weeks depending on what you have ordered and what time of year it is.
Deposit: Clients are required to pay the session fee deposit with a credit card at the time of booking to secure their session date and time. This deposit guarantees your slot and prevents other bookings for that period. The deposit will be credited towards your final bill. Payment can be made via cash, credit cards, checks, or Venmo. If you request hair and makeup services, we would be happy to help schedule or refer you to outside salons.
Rescheduling: You may reschedule your shoot for any reason, provided you notify us 48 hours before the scheduled time, without forfeiting your deposit.
I had been selling my images since I was 15. By the time I was 19 I thought I was pretty good. I got hired on a part time basis to carry stuff for a photographer. So in a sense all I was, was very cheap labor to carry stuff, my ability with a camera was incidental.
